About

Woods at Parkside is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 349 Olde Ridenour Road in Columbus, Ohio. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Woods at Parkside. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Woods at Parkside.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Woods at Parkside, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Woods at Parkside have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Woods at Parkside. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Woods at Parkside can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Woods at Parkside by visiting www.thewoodsatparkside.com now.

Personally I had a great experience there. The staff was amazing , I seen the Doctor on a Daily through detox, the nurses genuinely cared and the TA s was awesome , had group most all day and and AA or NA or both nightly, I got as much out of one week as I did a month in other places , I felt the holy spirit there and truly feel that this place is anointed and blessed , give it a chance with a honest effort and a want to change and you will find it there

I received treatment at Parkside 7 years ago.My treatment there was a great success. I made friends and learned things about myself that enabled me to stay sober until recently when I let my guards down and I'm headed back to hopefully recover and continue on with life with no more interruption. I chose Parkside because they helped me get my life in order.

I know countless people who started their recovery at The Woods at Parkside and now have long-term sobriety. I was so impressed by the changes I saw in peoples' lives that I decided to work here. I love seeing clients finish the program and go back out in the world equipped with the tools for permanent recovery. Many come back for 12-step mtgs & it's so much fun to visit with them & see how well they're doing. Our clients are often in my prayers and I know many other staff members that pray for our clients as well. I love being a part of changing peoples' lives!

Great, effective program. You're not there for a vacation...you're there to learn how to treat the disease of addiction.

I went here for rehab. It is a 28 day program but was let out after 17 days because "my insurance stopped paying". I had things stolen from me and multiple people had things stolen while i was there. We believe it was a staff member. They wouldnt even look at the cameras to figure out who it was. There are pictures online of the rooms for impatient and the pictures are from one room on the third floor. Every other room besides that one is gross. From throw up stains on the carpet to black mold in the showers and under the sinks. The food there is like being in jail. I would give it one star, but I cant because to be honest it truly helped me. The staff there is amazing, seriously some of the nicest people around. Another reason is because the friends I made there and the patients there make it for a great time.

This as my first and only treatment facility, so I do not have much to compare it to, but I was not expecting the Ritz-Carlton, and I didn't get that either. The accommodations, were what they should be. Not swanky, but clean, and fitting. The staff was amazing.
